Architecture & Design Film Festival: Opening Night – Film Screening
SVA Theatre, 333 West 23rd Street New York, NY 10011
Opening night is the world premiere of Leaning Out by Basia and Leonard Myszynski. This is the story of Leslie Robertson, the lead structural engineer of the World Trade Center, a man who oversaw the construction of the tallest building on the planet, haunted by its collapse and 9/11 events. This bond with humanity solidified his place in American history. It's a film about innovation, wind engineering and visionary collaborations. It's a film about Robertson, the pacifist/activist and his fight for human rights that drives him—and the woman engineer who loved and emboldened him and expanded his worldview and ultimately saved him.
Tickets for opening night screening and reception are $75
