Oct 19 at 12–1pm
Brooklyn Botanic Garden, 455 Flatbush Avenue, Brooklyn, NY 11238

Landscape Architect: Michael Van Valkenburgh Associates

The Shelby White and Leon Levy Water Garden is a 1.5-acre wetland and riparian environment with a network of innovative water conservation features. It was designed by Michael Van Valkenburgh Associates to highlight the beauty of water elements at BBG and anchor the Water Conservation Project, a Garden-wide initiative to reduce outdoor freshwater use and mitigate storm-water impact. This is the first project of its scale and complexity in North America.
