Andrea Lamberti, AIA, NCARB, Partner, Rafael Viñoly Architects
During her 20-year career with Rafael Viñoly Architects, Andrea Lamberti has led both master plan and building projects for academic, research, cultural, commercial and civic clients. Her recent projects include the master plan for New York University Abu Dhabi, and the design and construction of the LEED Platinum Darla Moore School of Business at the University of South Carolina. Ms. Lamberti also oversees strategic planning and development for the firm, worldwide.
Ms. Lamberti’s role in supporting the firm’s strategic initiatives encompasses research and training program development, publication initiatives, and business development strategy as well as competition and proposal efforts. For her work in this arena she has traveled to Asia, the Middle East, Europe and throughout the United States, establishing partnerships and cultivating opportunities for the firm’s engagement.
Prior to joining Rafael Viñoly Architects, Andrea Lamberti worked for two years as an architectural designer on residential and cultural projects at Norihiko Dan and Associates in Tokyo, Japan, where she conducted business in Japanese on a daily basis. She attended Harvard University where she received a Master of Architecture degree, and attended Massachusetts Institute of Technology for her undergraduate studies. She has served as guest critic and lectured widely at numerous conferences and universities, including her alma mater, and was honored in 2008 by Building Design+Construction’s 40 under 40 recognition.
